"Yeah, but see. Thing is. Me, I've got t'blush t'be hot. You, on the other hand..." He trailed off, glancing sideways at Jack, shaking his head a bit. "C'mon. We're almost there."

Jack shook his head, absolutely enamored and amused by the other man. He would continue further, to keep the compliments flowing, but he didn't want to overwhelm the other man. Still... "Oh, I dunno about that. I think without the blush, you do just fine. It's just an added bonus. The icing on the cake, I think," he said.

"Oi," Scotty said, laughing a bit. "Now you're just tryin' t'make me blush - an' don't you deny it." They had reached the quad by now, and it wasn't much further to the dorms. Scotty picked up the pace, just a bit.

Jack happily picked up the pace with him. "Maybe I am," he said to the other man. "Is it working? Or do I need to perfect my technique a little more?"

"Dunno," he answered. "Y'might want t'give it another go, yeah?" Saying something like that was just asking for trouble, but he couldn't really help it.

"Yeah?" Jack asked. "Alright then, how about this..."

Jack increased his pace a little more, stepping up to Scotty, grabbing him and stopping him in place with his hands on the other man's hips. He stepped in close smiling down at the other man, almost pressed up against him but not quite, not caring about the fact that they were in the middle of the quad and anyone could see them. "Blush or no blush, I think you're kinda hot," he said. "And the accent's one hell of a turn-on," he added.

That definitely took Scotty by surprise, and although his blush grew even deeper at that, he made absolutely no move to step back. This close, those fifty-first century pheromones were just that much more obvious, and on impulse, Scotty leaned in quickly, pressing his lips against Jack's.

Jack was not at all disappointed with Scotty's reaction there, humming a pleased sound under his breath as he kissed Scotty right back, firmly, passionately. No sense in wasting a good first kiss, after all.

He pressed himself closer, slipping his arms around Jack's waist, not caring any more than Jack had that they were in the middle of the quad. After all, it was the twenty-third century; no one was going to care about two people making out.

Jack smiled into the kiss at Scotty stepping closer. At this point, their bodies were flush up against each other, one of Jack's hands coming up to cup the side of Scotty's cheek. Standing this close to each other, Scotty didn't have to use his imagination to tell that Jack really was turned on by him, as a matter of fact.

Scotty slid a hand up to the back of Jack's head, and as close as they were, it was obvious that feeling was mutual, as it were. He murmured wordlessly against Jack's mouth, and after a moment, pulled away just a tiny bit to catch his breath. "Right." A pause, and he laughed, still breathless. "Right. My room?"

Jack laughed against Scotty's lips, before pulling back a little himself. "Sounds like a plan to me," he said, grinning like a man who knew exactly what he wanted, and that he would get it too.

"Right," he repeated, laughing again. He took a step back and slid a hand down Jack's arm to take his hand, setting off once again in the direction of the dorms. "You're somethin' else, you know that?"

Jack laced his fingers with Scotty's and happily followed along behind him, sticking a lot closer than he had been before. "So I've been told," he said with a grin.

It wasn't very far to the dorms, and they arrived there fairly quickly; there were a few people hanging out in the common area, and a couple of them grinned in Scotty's direction. "Don't start," he warned them, grinning right back.

Jack grinned at them as well, and winked for good measure, squeezing Scotty's hand gently, urging him on. He...really wanted to get to Scotty's room, so they could keep going. Scotty was hot, he was hot, they were both attracted to each other, they were both into doing this, so. What were they waiting for?

Scotty certainly wasn't going to wait around for teasing from his friends; he continued on, and they didn't run into anyone else on the way up to his room. "Right," he said, as soon as they were inside. "Where were we?"

Jack smirked at the other man. "Oh, I believe that we were..." Jack stepped forward, his hand going to cup Scotty's face as he pressed him up against the door that they'd just shut behind them. "I think we were somewhere around here, yeah?" He ducked his head, kissing Scotty squarely on the mouth, before trailing kisses down to the other man's neck, nipping gently, but nowhere hard enough to leave a mark.

"That sounds about right, yeah," Scotty murmured, tilting his head back when Jack began kissing his neck. He slipped his arms around Jack's waist, pulling him closer, sliding his hands up under the hem of Jack's shirt.

Jack smiled against the skin of Scotty's neck, happy that the other man was taking some action too, and that he wasn't just forcing himself on Scotty. Not that the other man was complaining at all. Continuing the attentions that he'd been giving to Scotty's neck, he slid his other hand to his waist, slipping under Scotty's shirt as well but instead tracing the skin along the waistband of his pants, lightly, tantalizingly. Oh yeah, he was definitely looking forward to this night.

He shifted slightly, leaning into Jack's hand at his waist, moving to press a few kisses of his own to Jack's neck. Definitely no complaints from Scotty. He laid his palm flat against the base of Jack's spine, fingers splayed out, brushing his fingertips across Jack's skin.

Jack's hand shifted to slide up the back of Scotty's shirt, his other hand moving to join it, gripping the hem and lifting gently. He pulled back, looking at the other man, plainly and clearly asking for permission to keep going, giving him one last chance to say no before he got carried away. "Alright?" he asked, with a quirked smile.

"Jack," Scotty said, with the sort of frankness that came with being just tipsy enough to not care, "If you don't finish what you've started." He stopped, trying to think of a good threat follow that, couldn't think of anything, and shrugged.

"Noted," Jack said, with a grin, before he reached out and tugged at Scotty's shirt, bringing it up over Scotty's shoulders and pulling it over his head, easing it off before tossing it across the room. Stepping closer, he ran his hands over Scotty's now bared torso, ghosting his fingers over his sides before ducking his head, kissing the corner of Scotty's neck and shoulder, a place he couldn't get to before now, with the t-shirt having been in the way.

He shivered a bit at Jack's hands on his chest, and slipped his hands under Jack's shirt again, sliding them up his back, fingers digging slightly into Jack's shoulders as the other man kissed him. He'd worry about getting rid of Jack's shirt in a moment; for now, he was too busy enjoying Jack's attention to think more than one or two steps ahead.
