[future!verse]
Dec. 3rd, 2010 01:26 amBetween working, planning for the upcoming wedding, and getting the house in order, Monty found he had little time to do much more than think about the Enterprise every now and then, and then only as a passing thought. His weekdays were devoted to the Academy, his weekends to helping out around the house. It was routine, but he didn't mind routine. This weekend, however, he felt he'd been working a little too much, and he was ready to just relax for a bit. Granted, life on Earth wasn't nearly so stressful as working in the engine room had been, on occasion, but it had its moments.
When he got home relatively early Friday afternoon to find Liz not at home - she must have run to the store for something, he assumed, since she was generally in her office when he got home from the Academy - he took the opportunity to set up a little something to give them both a bit of a break.
And so, when Liz eventually got back, she'd find a note taped to the front door: I'm not nearly as good as you are with thinking up puzzles, so you'll just have to forgive me if these clues are awful. The second clue's nesting with the tv remote.
