The problem with letting Helen take care of most of the planning for the wedding meant having to make several trips up north in order to get things sorted out, because even if Helen was doing most of the planning, it was still his and Liz's wedding. He personally would have been happy leaving the decisions to Helen, but at the same time, he was trying to at least attempt to help make a few decisions here and there.

Currently, he was trying and failing to tell the difference between two types of flower, which were apparently different enough that they had to pick one or the other and by the way Helen talked about it, it was apparently a life or death decision. Okay, so maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but flowers were pretty much just flowers, as far as he was concerned. Eventually he managed to untangle himself from the discussion and went back to flipping through the magazine he'd brought with him.

They had always been surprisingly in tune with each other. She could hardly remember it now, but she knew that the first time they'd made love, there was a lot of laughter involved. It was fun and involved a bit of fumbling. However, moving on from there, they never had a problem. Every once in a while they were out of sync, but it wasn't anything she was too worried about since it was moments like this that made her realize that they were undoubtably perfect for each other. She kissed him just as much, parting her lips slightly and exhaling briskly through her nose.

Liz had no reason to be distracted either, so she was fully focused on continuing her ministrations. She was more than happy to take their time getting to the counter. She had every intention of kissing him as much as they possibly could before actually getting to it.

Liz sighed and lulled her head back for him. His hand slipped further up her skirt and she felt goosebumps rise wherever he touched. With his cue, Liz moved his pants out of the way so at least that was ready. However you want me.

Liz smirked at this because it was true. They were a tad high for her to just drape herself over it. She wasn't sure how high she was if she sat on the counter with him between her legs. Apparently the counters were going to pose a challenge. She didn't really mind. We can come up with something.

She smirked. There was a way to do this. She nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck at first and then lifting one leg high over his hip. Even that was close but not quite. Lift me onto your hips she added as she leaned in to kiss him again.

She groaned out loud as he guided himself into her, her mouth pressed tight to his. After a moment though, she untangled one arm from his shoulders and leaned back against the counter. Once braced, she reached down to tug her dress up higher over her hips and out of the way, leaning back now with both arms against the counter so she's stretched out backward, arms holding up her weight while her legs are still wrapped around his waist.

Liz was able to keep herself steady, knowing he had her since she was holding half her weight anyway. He worked out a steady rhythm and she let him take the lead since her range of motion was limited anyway. She rolled her head back and groaned to the ceiling. She spoke his name through a half sigh.

Liz had gotten pretty good at keep the link open at all times. He could feel what she felt as long as he knew to look for it. She was willing to share that since she didn't have anything to hide from him. He did the same. This only intensified as she discovered more about her ability. Even like this, when they were both a bit silly and christening the counter, she could feel him and she knew that he could feel her. She prided herself in that.
