Clara settled back against the couch, sipping at her tea as Liz told her there was something she'd been meaning to tell her. It was kind of odd, the way she started out talking about it... Something that Montgomery had known about, alright, that meant it couldn't be bad. And then... Telepathic. It didn't really register at first. She'd heard of telepathy in other beings, of course - Vulcans, who had touch-telepathy, and Betazoids, who were almost uncomfortably telepathic. But telepathy in humans?

"Huh," she said, after a moment, taking another long sip of her tea. "Well... As long as Montgomery's alright with it, I don't see any reason to worry about it." She gave Liz a smile, and added, "It makes a lot of sense, actually. You're good at hidin' it, but sometimes... Sometimes I wondered if you didn't know what Montgomery was thinkin' before he knew it."
